DANIEL LATORRE

Natural from São Paulo, Daniel is the man of the HAMMOND ORGAN in Brazil. Studied piano and specialized to play Jazz, Blues and Rock on the Hammond organs, received lessons from many north-americans organ player, like Deacon Jones (John Lee Hooker, Freddie King, and others, Jimmy Smith student) and Reuben Wilson. Between jams, shows, workshops, recordings and special appearances; Latorre played with many internacional artists like Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Andy Summers (Police), Rob Mostert (dutch organ player) and important Brazilian artists/bands like, Caetano Veloso, Lobão, Sepultura, Edgar Scandurra, Paralamas do Sucesso, Rita Lee, Lee Marcucci, Luiz Carlini (Tutti-Frutti), Bocato, Frejat, Robson Fernandes, André Christovam, and many others. Recorded albums and DVDs of Jerry Adriane, Simoninha, Ed Motta and the famous pop band, Jota Quest. Latorre is associated with Hammond Europe since 2017. Played many years with the Sepultura guitar player Andreas Kisser in his solo project, Andreas Kisser Brasil Rock Stars (2000- 2008), Also was band member of Beto Lee band and Paulo Zinner Rockestra, famous Brazilian drummer.  In 2004 founded Hammond Grooves dedicating exclusively to this project till today.
